May tomorrow! So are we  ready to challenge ourselves through May?!
Thanks for starting a new thread  Gill , this is a sketch for a painting.
I’m not able to join in every day, work commitments etc, but here is a pen and ink drawing of a floating crude oil distribution platform on the Firth of Forth…drawn a couple of days ago - photo courtesy of Fiona. Rotring Ticky 0.2 profipen in a Stillman & Birn Beta sketchbook.
Today is the First of May! And may I be the First to Say - It's still bloody cold....  Poetry?  I'll give you poetry..... On the plus side, possibly, I did polish off an acrylic yesterday after a week or more of desiccated inspiration.
Thanks Gillian for keeping it up and running. Some great sketches already. I'll be getting stuck in,  inbetween painting.
Lovely to see the drawings and Paul, Alan and Robert, yes the Merry month of May, hip hip hooray! Our Sunflowers are out in full bloom so started some sketches and painted yesterday..
Well done, what an array of sketches already, maybe it’s a sign that spring is in the air. Here is a quick charcoal sketch
This is a new drawing of a long-deceased but lovingly remembered dog, one Sally, who was my brother's dog; she adorns his birthday card this year; 67 this April - I'm sure he'll do very well when he's grown up.
Your sunflowers are bright and cheerful, Angela, lovely work. Nice charcoal sketch, Gillian. A great start for the month of May.
Looking for Ken Dodd.  Scribble-sheet for caricature.  Not there.
The madness is well captured Lewis.
