I just spotted this on the forum Paul, really good and quick work.

It’s interesting though Paul. Trees grow in the most strange places, I’ve seen them on high towers ( not intentionally planted).

Stephen, Denise and Christine thank you for your comments I appreciate them.

Marjorie we were writing at the same time I think, thank yiu for your much appreciated comment. Yes it’s amazing the places a tree can grow , one little seed dropped by a bird of blown in the wind and of it goes. But we do really know that some elf , pixie etc did actually plant the seedling and watered it regularly.

Looks like a scene from Avatar or a Roger Dean fantasy painting! Nicely done Paul especially in fifteen minutes.

Good question good painting!

Andrew , Russell, Heather and Valerie thank you for your comments. I will now refresh my memory and look at Roger Deans paintings Andy.

Really good Paul, especially given that you did it quickly.

Incredible Paul and such a freak of nature. Beautifully painted.

Many thanks for you comments David and Carole

Like this Paul, it's unusual, and even more so that you did it in 15 minutes!

Lovely job. So clean and unfussy. Nature is incredible isn’t it

Thank you Trevor and Martin for your comments. Nature sure is wonderful and beats anything man can make .

Thank you Spencer for you kind comment , yes nature is magnificent much better if man left it alone to do it’s own thing.

They didn’t Paul the seeds came down, or the birds dropped them in. Like it, a confident watercolour.

Thank you Maureen and John I appreciate your king comments .

A6 watercolour of a single tree growing on a mountain too , I was inspired after seen some online photos of the Yellow Mountains in China it’s some weeks ago and this is from memory of one of the trees . Finding it difficult to concentrate ob larger works at the moment and my mind tends to wander did this in fifteen minutes approx before I lost interest.
