Work in Progress

At Suburban art jam today, Julie Ann Maguire prepares a hydrangea for a CP work-in-progress

Dear Art Blog Friends I do like flowers, lillies in particular, especially when my husband, Michael buys them unexpectedly. This work-in-progress is a study of a hydrangea which was starting to decay in the first few days of December 2013. It is sitting in the neighbour's garden, starting to grow again now and I'm intending to take a print of the artwork, once complete, to share with Vinood and his lovely wife at some point. The sunlight really brings out the autumnal goodness. I have an idea in mind for the title, but I'm keeping that under wraps until the final image appears. My own reference source, I'll be using prismacolor on black Stonehenge paper producing a slightly bigger than A4 final result. Why not stop by my new art website blog to read more? http://suburbanartjam.com/wp/work-in-progress-a-botanical-theme/ Have a good day. Best Wishes JAM
