Absolutely amazing Andrew. The eyes are magnetic, i feel they are looking straight at me and seem to follow me. Such warmth emanates from the painting too.

I like this, because you've made him look as challenging and disturbing as he really would have been. A refreshing change from the sentimentality of 'gentle Jesus, meek and mild' and similar Victorian affectations.

Andrew, what can be said of this magnificent depiction of Jesus Christ, the eyes are haunting and appear to see straight into ones inner self... clearly the best of your work as an artist..

A captivating and beautifully done painting Andrew. Our concepts of Jesus will always differ as no one knows what he looks like. I dug out my own stark interpretation of his agony after seeing this. Great work.
