Spot on assessment of the situation Lew , superb artwork as always.

So true, marvellous observation.

lol. Nicely done Lewis.

Fabulous visual images. Now here's the thing Lewis ... I have a theory that men (and boys) go to 'men's school' . At this prestigious establishment they learn a key number of things including 1) never put the toilet seat down 2) it is impossible to multi task 3) there is a miracle fairy who does all the cleaning/washing up/laundry and even puts their clothes away 4) that all women are interested in their sports and the views that they hold on the subject ... the list is endless. Would you believe it, some men even graduate with honours. Personally I think the concept merits another wonderful drawing.

How did you get those expressions Lewis when you weren’t there - spot on!

Thank you Dixie, Stephen, Rikke, and Heather. Heather, you've presented the other side of the coin. At school, I got an 'A' level in all the things you've mentioned. As a cartoony type of person, I deal in stereotypes, and that's what this is. But as you know, they're stereotypes because these things, or some of them, happen in real life. The one thing I've learned is that men and women are different...viva la difference!

Marjorie, I saw a photo of the girl on the left (doing her eyelashes), and loved the expression. This gave me the idea for the pic...the rest are made up. It's not much different to the expressions a man makes when shaving.

The comments here are as brilliant as your pic Lew... you are so right about the sort of hidden signal that all the women go off to the loo together . But Heather has it spot on with her observations of the undeserving male. That loo seat left up ugh...

The faucets are a great little finishing touch to this picture Lewis.

Great group of characters Lew, but it does beg the question......What were YOU doing in the ladies room?

Thank you Sylvia. In days past we organised a lot of family and friends 'do's'...skittle evenings, dances, fancy dress et al... and the ladies, from teenagers to grannies, all performed the dissappearing act soon after arriving. We poor men were left on our own. We'd have interesting chats about the meaning of life, leaky engine sumps, and leaving the toilet seat up. Thank you Denise, I put the taps in to suggest the ladies were looking into a mirror. I can confirm Tony, that I was only there in a observational function.

On dangerous ground Lew. (-:

I think all us girls can relate to this Lewis!

Thank you Jim and Christine. I think you're right Jim.

Great observation Lew, especially the lady on the left! I’ll say no more…

Great observation. I think. Having never been there myself. I’ll take your word for it. Ha What’s a toilet seat btw?

Mmmn Brilliant. But definitely a can of worms Lewis 👍

Us ladies rule 😏 Awsome work Lewis 👌

Another wee beaut Lewis - you have to have been peeping surely ?? or have a very good imagination !! Having survived living with a wife and 3 daughters , I was well trained with regard to Loo seats - but I made a point of also lowering the cover as well. So we all had to lift something !!

Thank you Tessa, Martin, Chris, Faye and Mike. I must say when I posted this pic I didn't expect to be defending myself on the subject of toilet seats.

The comments are a compliment to your artwork and humour. You never fail !

Wonderful cartoon, Lewis!

Brilliant 'observations' Lewis and superbly portrayed.

Did this a while ago, wasn't sure about it. Decided it's no worse, or better, than most of my stuff, so I've posted it.

Self taught. Love drawing. Like to make pictures up, without using reference pics, often in cartoon style. I do other pictures where I do use reference. I'm knocking on a bit, born in 1940 in Greenwich, London. Retired, and loving it.
