Even when you can’t think of anything, there is always some little trigger in the arty finger! I do like his outfit, his hair and for some reason the way his canvas is propped on wooden blocks. Now, open the sketchbook and see what’s inside!?

What a way to start a sketch book with an excellent sketch . I have looked at it several time and each time I’ve imagined different thoughts going through the artists mind . It’s one of those that you see and like each time .

Stunning, I don’t think those blocks will keep the canvas up with a big poke by a brush though. But perhaps that is the next painting, when it all goes wrong? Can’t wait to see the next episode!

New Year. Brand new A3 sketchbook. Couldn't think of anything. Drew a title page. Watercolour, pen, indian ink, coloured pencils.

Self taught. Love drawing. Like to make pictures up, without using reference pics, often in cartoon style. I do other pictures where I do use reference. I'm knocking on a bit, born in 1940 in Greenwich, London. Retired, and loving it.
