Dip pen with Indian ink makes a great statement Lew, even more appealing to me than when colour is added… I’m probably alone there! Smashing job once again…

I like your use of the dip pen Lew, and in this case, I feel no colour needed. It underlines your drawing skills and emphasis on character which is so spot on.

Thanks for your comments. I have no musical skill whatsoever, my sons have, one regularly does gigs in pubs etc. I envy them. Music is a great gift.

Great fun Lew and beautifully drawn. The right hand musician reminds me of Acker Bilk but I don’t think he wore such a stunning hat.

This is great Lewis, superbly drawn characters as always. I too have played in bands and we've all been guilty of occasional improvisation or is it self indulgent twiddling?

When I drew this I was intending to add colour, I definitely would had I used a fineliner pen, but I think dip pens give a different look...so I left it as it is. I don't understand music, or how musicians can improvise, all I know is I like it. A3 sketchbook.
