Craig y Nos castle in the upper region of the Swansea Valley was once home to the original diva, Adelina Patti. Whilst there, she landscaped the extensive grounds (now a park) and planted an impressive Rhododendron arch. I was fascinated by the light and shadows, the shapes and values.
