Thank you for your lovely comments. My partner and I go to the North Norfolk coast for our hols 3 times a year. This is where I was inspired to start painting. The coast line has dramatic horizons and the weather can change the scene in a second, especially Brancaster where we have been caught out on a few occasions and I have ended up with a soggy sketch pad!

This is my first canvas in a while. It was challenge as the only way to get this right was to loosen up and avoid everything going muddy by allowing glazes to dry. I feel that it has gone OK , but at times it nearly went in the bin.
